Sealing ring for the crankshaft fits many VW engines such as G60, G40, VR6, 1.8T, 16V, 16VG60 etc.
The oil seal is located in the engine block gearbox side. If oil leaks between the engine and transmission, it should be replaced. Or buy directly the complete block seal kit for your vehicle. See category "Engines & Parts".
