To bring the extra power on the road, you need a sport clutch, because the original can not transfer the power. For the conversion to K04-01 upgrade turbocharger you have to install a 3" downpipe and our upgrade air mass meter.
BAR-TEK® TIP!
We recommend that you buy the Level 3 Kit right away. With the level 2 kit, without modified injectors and upgrade manifold, the performance gain compared to chip tuning is not quite as high. This is because the 180 hp 1.8T engine already has a slightly larger turbocharger.

If you have already installed a downpipe, an intake hose and an upgrade intercooler, you can continue to use them. With an upgrade intercooler you also have the complete power available in summer!

320 hp: That's an announcement! To drive this power, you have to replace your connecting rods with h-beam connecting rods. A sports clutch kit is required to make the 320 hp perfect. For the exhaust you should use a 76 mm exhaust system. For the correct oil temperature, an oil cooler must be installed!

A good chip tuning is required for this conversion. You can send us your control unit or have your vehicle tuned directly in our dyno. Another tip from us: If you have installed the small 280 mm brake system, this is no longer up to the high performance. You can convert it to a Brembo 4-piston brake or a 320 mm brake (e.g. from the Audi S3).

If you want to get the full performance out of your engine, you must not forget the cooling. Even a little extra power puts a lot of strain on your engine! The thermal load increases and affects all areas of your vehicle, even the transmission suffers from the new power. At best, the hard-earned power is reduced again; at worst, your engine suffers major damage. So that you can tune your engine safely and reliably, we provide you with everything you need for perfect cooling. Although it is ideal to install all parts together in a cooling bundle, you don't necessarily have to order everything at once. Each product helps you to improve cooling.

His first car was a Polo Mk1 with a 40 Weber twin carburetor and 129 PS (95 kW). His second was an Audi 50. Today Bartek tunes Lamborghinis to 1000 PS (735 kW). Even as a young boy, Bartek disassembled vehicles and put everything back together better. He wrote his high school diploma with oil on his fingers. The trained automotive mechanic with a focus on engines and gearboxes was determined to go into motorsports. In his 10 years in Formal 1, he supervised 73 races, including as engine mechanic for Ralf Schumacher at Toyota.
