Forged high-performance pistons from JE Pistons for VW 2.0L 16V 9A engines.
Features:
The specified compression is in conjunction with a 1.65mm cylinder head gasket.
Price for a set of JE piston without coating, but this can be specially manufactured by JE for an additional charge.
Last picture shows JE piston with special coatings on piston skirt and piston crown.
The special coating can be ordered separately from us. (see below)
As the standard connecting rods cannot withstand a power increase from 300 hp, we recommend using steel connecting rods.
From a boost pressure of 2 bar, reinforced TURBO piston pins must be used. (see below)
For piston which are labelled with a Q in the design, adjustments must be made to the oil spray nozzles of the piston crown cooling system.
