Description

The AEM Vehicle Dynamics Module (VDM) is a versatile 3-in-1 device specifically designed for vehicle dynamics applications.

Features:

  • Integrated sensors: The VDM has a 50 Hz 3-axis accelerometer, a 50 Hz 3-axis gyroscope and a fast, high-precision 20 Hz GPS + GLONASS (with a continuous rate of at least 10 Hz) to provide highly accurate position detection data.
  • GPS + GLONASS: The GPS + GLONASS function of the VDM provides vehicle speed, position, heading and altitude and enables the creation of route maps with the AEMdata route mapping software.
  • Easy installation: Installation is simple and requires virtually no set-up. Power is supplied via the AEMnet connection and the weatherproof module can be easily mounted in the correct orientation and angle.
  • Advanced features: The VDM offers a variety of features, including capturing GPS longitude and latitude for track data functionality, recording acceleration and gyro sensor data for suspension tuning, and capturing vehicle speed, direction and altitude for data analysis and lap comparisons.
  • Weatherproof housing: The VDM has a weatherproof housing with IP67 certification for outdoor use.
