This V-band kit is specially designed for the construction of titanium pipework. The materials used can withstand e. g. high temperatures in the area according to catalyst. The titanium kits can be used as complete fittings on exhaust, intake and boost lines. the quick-release fastener makes it easy to fit the fitting. The flanges are designed as male/female versions and are self-centring. The titanium tube can be inserted and welded to ensure centring.

Available in four different grades (1, 2, 3 and 4), titanium differs in terms of corrosion resistance, ductility and strength. Grade 1 and 2 titanium is predominantly used in the motorsport sector.

Grade 2 is the most commonly used titanium alloy in all product forms for industrial use and offers an excellent balance of moderate strength and reasonable ductility. In particular, it has high corrosion resistance. It has been widely used in almost every application that requires titanium, such as chemical processing, dimensionally stable anodes, medical industry, marine industry, automotive parts and airframe structure.
