Upgrade Exhaust manifold suitable for the Audi 4.0L TFSI engines as in the RS6 and RS7 C7.
The manifolds are the result of long development work on the RS6. Due to the CAD and CFM based design and very complex 1.4849 stainless steel casting, even temperatures of 1100°C are no problem for the manifolds.
The biggest problem of the series exhaust manifolds is the much too small diameter. Upgradeladers make only limited sense in conjunction with the stock manifolds. Due to the high exhaust backpressure, the exhaust valves are forced open and combustion misfires occur. With our manifolds, we have maximized the cross-section and all cylinders are brought together. The back pressure is significantly reduced. This results in more power and lower exhaust gas temperatures. Thanks to the flow-optimized design, projects can also be realized with well over 1,000 HP.
By keeping the original flanges, the turbos fit perfectly to the manifolds without any modifications.
Features:
1.4849 Stainless Alloy. The best oft he best!
For racing purposes, we only use materials with the best characteristics. As an alloy for our manifolds, we have therefore decided to use a heat-resistant stainless steel casting with the less catchy name "1.4849". It consists of a complex mixture of chromium, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, niobium, phosphorus, sulphur and silicon. The key strengths of the material 1.4849 include its heat resistance up to 1100 degrees Celsius and its high elongation at break. This makes it the material of dreams when it comes to the highest thermal and mechanical loads - and perfect for challenging uses in motorsport. So it is the best material for our high performance parts and your tuning projects!
Attention: The exhaust manifolds for the 4.0L TFSI EA824 are delivered without thermal insulation, because this can only be attached after welding the turbine housing!
Without insulation you risk a fire damage to the vehicle, therefore use these manifolds necessarily with insulation!!!
The installation of power increasing components requires careful handling as well as expert knowledge. The engine and the entire drive must be in a performance-compliant condition.
