Temperature Stickers – Reliable Monitoring of the Engine Parts

Temperature Sticker

In our online shop, you get temperature stickers alongside various heat barriers in order for you to have an ever constant eye on the optimum temperature under the hood. They reliably show the temperature of the surface upon which they are stuck. With tuned engines in particular, the heat in the engine compartment can be extreme, and the individual components are exposed to it. In order to prevent overheating in the long term, you can determine with our temperature stickers whether a specific heat level has been exceeded. You can then equip or upgrade the respective component with our heat protection sleeves, heat barriers or heat tapes.

Our 5-field Temperature Measuring Points and Measuring Strips

The 5-field multiple-area temperature measuring points with a diameter of 14 mm have a measuring range from 88°C–110°C. They are both oil-proof and water-proof. The vertical 8-point temperature measuring strips are available in 51 x 18 mm and have a measuring range of 77°C–116°C.

The individual measuring fields are made of a special mixture of organic chemicals that melt at different temperatures. When melting, they change their color and thus indicate reliably whether the surface upon which the measuring point or strip is attached has reached a specific heat level. Once the nominal temperature of a respective part is reached, the measuring field is colored permanently.

In motor sports, they are used on engines and engine components, cooling systems, brakes, hydraulic systems and transmissions. The stickers are also used outside of racing, for instance for

  • machines
  • mechanical equipment
  • electrical equipment
  • electronic assemblies and components
  • guarantee verifications

Made in Germany, the temperature stickers have a measuring accuracy of +/- 1%.
