Garrett GT-X Turbochargers – Performances up to 1250 PS
Garrett GTX is the new development on the turbo market! Garrett has further developed and improved the well-known GT series. One innovation in the GT-X series is the compressor wheel, also called “billet”, milled from a block and CNC-machined. The word billet refers to components that are milled from a solid block, i.e. they are not cast. The great advantage of this manufacturing procedure is, for one, the saving in weight. Secondly, the far better service life of the components.
Turbochargers of the Garrett GT-X series are supplied without exhaust housing because the housings from the Garrett GT series can continue to be used. The essential advantages of the GT-X turbochargers are
- a significantly faster spool up (revving),
- better air flow with the same boost (i.e. more performance),
- less of a tendency to dangerous “surging” on account of the high-flow machined compressor housing.
You’ll achieve an incredible performance and a top-notch response. The turbos of the GT-X series are simply lots of driving fun! You can buy turbochargers with different hp from us, for example:

The Turbocharger for Car Racing Fans: Performances of up to 1250 hp
The Garrett turbo GTX4508R is the optimal turbo for true car racing fans: It is designed for extreme performance of up to 1250 hp. The CNC-milled aluminum compressor wheel has a new wing design. Thanks to the high-flow compressor housing, the turbo has less tendency to surging. The response is faster, and you have around ten percent more air flow with the same boost. The compressor wheel is milled from a solid block and is very lightweight. You can use the exhaust side from the older GT series, so all GT-X turbos are delivered without one.
Double Ball Bearings for the GT-X
Since the Garrett GT-X turbochargers have double ball bearings, you should always install an oil restrictor. This is because the ball bearings and the gaskets are not designed for the same oil pressure. Owing to the ball bearings, the rotating equipment revs up faster, so you get an improved response and achieve the necessary boost more quickly.
