Boost Controllers
Boost controllers have the task of controlling the charging of the engine. With increasing speed, the turbocharger that is driven by the exhaust gases makes for more air in the compressor and thus for even more exhaust, which in turn drives the turbocharger again. Without the boost controller, this principle would lead to the limits of the engine being exceeded. For the boost not to become overpowering when enhancing the performance, boost control is especially important in engine tuning.
Our N75 Valves
An N75 valve, also called pressure transducer or magnet switching valve, provides an optimum boost on the turbocharger together with the boost control valve. The boost is preset by the controller by means of the boost map. The N75 valve directs the control pressure to the boost control valve. From there, it is transferred to the wastegate. Since the N75 valve is very vulnerable and becomes quickly defective, you should check it at regular intervals and replace it, if necessary. Unfortunately, a broken boost valve means an enormous loss of performance since the wastegate can no longer be controlled.
In our shop, you´ll get the N75 valve for the following engines:
Manual Controller Unit by Integrated
With the boost controller by Integrated, you can adjust the boost variably. It is the best boost adjuster on the market. It was tested for up to 2.1 bar. By means of a ceramic ball on the inside of the boost adjuster, the boost pressure is controlled quite accurately. Faster pressure build-up is possible. It is simply mounted between the manifold side and the wastegate – a matter of a few minutes. You get the controller in two variants, with different connections.
The Forge Boost Adjuster
To increase the boost and gain a corresponding increase in performance, the boost adjuster by Forge Motorsport is well suited. It fits all engines with mechanical boost control. If you control the boost pressure via a map in the control, this FORGE device doesn´t work so well. In this case, you should consider chip tuning. It is suitable especially for engines that originally did not have a turbocharger and therefore do not control the boost pressure with an engine map.
