Sports Clutches and Accessories for VW
Sports clutches are an absolute must in engine tuning. The forces acting on all parts are enormous. In addition, enough power and torque must be transmitted to the gearbox so the clutch does not slip. This is why you’ll find mainly Sachs sports clutches for VW in our shop. They have improved organic pads or are made of hard sintered metal. Sachs is one of the best manufacturers of sports clutches. The company is known in car racing, among other things in Formula 1. High-End Race Clutch Kit up to 1300 Nm
The ultimate sports clutch kit for your VW racer is the Tilton clutch kit with our BAR-TEK flywheel. It makes possible an incredible power transmission of up to 1300 Nm of torque. While the standard single-mass flywheel is very heavy and not suitable for high torque figures, you can achieve a proper amount of performance with this kit. The BAR-TEK flywheel is particularly lightweight and made of high quality chrome-molybdenum steel. The kit has a number of other advantages over other sports clutches. The clutch pedal is easy to move and the Tilton clutch cannot be pushed over. All in all, it is a lot more durable and perfect for extreme performances.
Friction Disc with Diamond Coating
Our friction disc with diamond coating is installed between the crankshaft and the flywheel. The friction disc is useful in particular for engines with a great deal of torque and suitable for all VW and Audi engines with 6-point bolting. Owing to the bolting, micro movements occur between the flywheel and the crankshaft. Even when using high-quality ARP bolts, there is always a little play, which in a worst case scenario can lead to the flywheel tearing off. With the friction disc, the friction increases by up to 300%. This means the flywheel and the crankshaft are connected far better and absolutely stable even with a lot of performance.
