The Audi sports clutches by Sachs come with reinforced pressure plate, including special coating, and provide for a higher transmittable torque, higher burst speed and lower lift. Many of the Sachs clutch kits are for the original dual mass flywheel. You can achieve even more performance with a single mass flywheel. With such a flywheel, the engine can rev faster, the delay is positively influenced and idle running does not deteriorate. We recommend for you always to use the appropriate flywheel bolts here.
Reinforced clutch for tuned Audis
Since the clutch frequently starts to slip in the higher speed ranges and the increase in performance must then be reduced, you should reinforce your clutch if you want to take advantage of the entire tuning potential. We even undertake the additional reinforcement of the pressure plate in many cases. For a really high torque, we also have upgrade kits with reinforced clutches. The DSG clutch, for example, can transmit a torque of up to 1000 Nm. It ensures a perfect power transmission and optimally prevents slippage of the clutch.
By the way: When replacing the clutch, you should always change your clutch release bearing, since it is a wear part.
