High demands are placed on modern sports clutches. Tuned turbo engines in particular need to transmit sufficient power and torque to the transmission. Our sports clutches with improved organic linings or even harder linings made of sintered metal help with this. Everything Included: Sports Kit for 2.0L With Chain
The complete sports clutch kit by Sachs and BAR-TEK® is the ultimate set for your 2.0L TSI engine. A dual-mass flywheel is fitted as standard, which enables a more comfortable start. However, this is not suitable for engine tuning as it is very heavy and cannot cope with the high torque transmission. The sports clutch kit therefore comes with a rigid single-mass flywheel made of steel, a clutch pressure plate and a torsion-sprung clutch disk with organic linings.
If you want a little more comfort, you should switch to a dual-mass flywheel. The matching sports clutch kit with 15 % more power transmission is also available from Sachs.
Clutch Discs for Better Torque Transmission
In addition to complete sports clutches, we also offer individual clutch plates that enable better torque transmission and sportier driving. Rigid clutch plates made of sintered metal, for example, ensure an aggressive response and are ideally suited for higher torque values.
Clutch discs with organic linings enable a similar start-up to the standard parts. These also enable a higher transmittable torque and a higher burst speed.
