Extra Performance With a Working G-Lader

The G-Lader ensures that the pressure in the inlet pipe is increased and correspondingly more fuel-air mixture is processed. This increases the average working pressure, enhancing the performance of the engine considerably. This is why, in tuning, the G-Lader is a good starting point for optimization. For the G-Lader to work smoothly and for you to be able to use the entire performance potential, all parts, and especially the bearings of the G-Lader, must be serviced regularly.

Why Would You Want to Replace All the Bearings?

All G-Lader bearings are exposed to a certain amount of wear, some more, some less. Nonetheless, you should replace all five bearings during an overhaul. This is the only way to guarantee a long service life of your G-Lader. The needle bearing for the displacer, for example, wears down very fast, since it must withstand the eccentric movements of the displacer. If you want to be on the safe side and implement a proper overhaul, you should fall back on a complete bearings kit. We have kits by FAG for the G60, for example.
