The fuel pump – the very core of tuned engines
The fuel pump has the job of supplying the engine with fuel. It pumps the fuel from the tank to the carburetors, injection pumps or valves of internal combustion engines. The pump must work smoothly and absolutely reliably, so that your engine is permanently supplied and your car does not falter or even die off. With tuned engines in particular, problems can occur when the fuel pump is not fitted properly. This is why we have upgrades for fuel pumps and high pressure pumps, pumps for 1300 hp and various pump accessories that you can buy in our online shop.
Upgraded high-pressure pumps and fuel pumps
We have rebuilt original pumps for you such that a higher fuel pressure and a higher flow rate can be achieved. By means of a larger piston, our upgraded high-pressure pumps ensure increased gas pressure and a fuel pressure of up to 180 bar. Thanks to a DLC coating, less wear and friction will occur. Especially for tuned engines, the upgrade of the normal fuel pump is therefore a must. They come with a new pump tappet and are suitable for engines of 340 hp and higher.
Our fuel pump upgrades have also been perfectly adapted to the needs of your tuned engine. They can be simply replaced by plug & play and have an optimal fit since they match the dimensions of the standard gas pump. But they pump considerably more fuel and are far more powerful. Problems in curves are a thing of the past, and the pumps get the most from the engine tuning.
Optimally supplied with our low-pressure pumps
For you to be optimally supplied, you can also buy upgrades for the low-pressure system of your TRSI engine. This pump in the tank supplies the high-pressure pump on the engine. As of approx. 400 hp, you should adapt the low-pressure pump also to the increased fuel consumption and upgrade it accordingly. Owing to a special system in which we use an Aeromotive pump, you can drive up to 700 hp. These pumps usually come with additional parts such as filters, hoses, adapters, etc.
