Forged pistons sets by Mahle and BAR-TEK
You’ll also find complete sets of forged Mahle pistons in our product range, including con-rods and rod bearings. For example, the set suitable for 1.8T 20V engines such as in the Golf Mk4, Audi TT or Seat Leon. The parts match perfectly, so you won’t have to look for components, and they will turn your 1.8T into a turbo, with which you can reach up to 650 hp. The set comes with pistons, I-shaft con-rods and ACL rod bearings. The pistons have a special alloy, high-performance piston pins and special ring zones. Our BAR-TEK piston rod is suitable for extreme performance increases of up to 1,000 hp and very lightweight and stable. The rod bearing is a coated racing bearing, including extra bore for the piston pin.
Of course, we have lots of other piston sets, e.g. for 2.5L TFSI engines like in the Audi RS3 and TTRS or sets for 2.0L TFSI engines with a cam belt as in the Golf Mk5, Audi S3 and so on.
Piston rings for Mahle pistons
If the compression pressure is too low and your engine consumes too much oil, it may well be that your piston rings are worn and should be replaced. You can simply reorder piston ring sets from us. Please always specify the exact piston as well as the bore, part number, type and so on.
