ARP head studs & ARP bolts

ARP head studs & bolts

ARP (Automotive Racing Products) is the leading manufacturer of engine bolts of all kinds. ARP uses a metal mixture of iron, carbon, chromium and molybdenum in a special mixing ratio. So-called chrome molybdenum steel with the number 8740 is now well-known throughout the world. The particularly high tensile strength of this material makes for high-strength bolts and threaded bolts that withstand incredible tensile forces. With a value of 13.8 t/cm², this steel alloy is approximately twice as stable as the best standard bolts and threaded bolts offered by factory suppliers.

Stud bolts and cylinder head bolts in outstanding quality

The ARP stud bolts, ARP connecting rod bolts and ARP cylinder head bolts in our ARP shop are produced in elaborate procedures over many work steps. Quality always takes top priority. Again and again, the ARP bolts and stud bolts are checked to ensure that they are perfectly round and straight. Many work steps and constant monitoring of the ARP screws and bolts with threads ensure the consistently outstanding quality of the products. They have one great advantage over all standard bolts: The high-quality material and the resultant, almost indestructible thread can be re-used.

ARP kits for complete assembly

Although the ARP stud bolts, ARP connecting rod bolts and ARP bolts are available separately at express request, they usually come in so-called kits. The kits include enough steel bolts or threaded bolts to carry out the complete assembly of a component: the installation of the cylinder head, the crankshaft housing or con-rod of an engine. A sufficient quantity of fastener assembly lube is included (ARP Ultra Torque) in all ARP kits. The ARP stud bolts are delivered with equally high-quality nuts and washers. The stud bolts have threads of different sizes at both ends.

Tool for fastening the ARP bolts and stud bolts

When installing a cylinder head or a crankshaft, for example, the bolts are initially bolted in the block using an Allen key. The final fastening is then done with a multi-tooth tool with a specified torque. The multi-tooth nut is contained in only a few kits – this is why you should order it in the online shop in good time.
