AGM Technology
Batteries with AGM technology have a number of advantages over conventional car batteries. AGM stands for absorbent glass mat and is a special design of the lead battery. The electrolytes are bound in a mat made of fiber glass. The fiber glass mat is saturated with sulfuric acid. There is no fluid in the battery that could escape in the event of an accident. In addition, AGM batteries do not discharge as quickly as normal batteries, so you will always have enough capacity in the battery when starting, even when it’s very cold outside. Moreover, AGM batteries have a significantly longer life than conventional lead acid batteries. They also have the advantage of being maintenance-free and particularly lightweight, something quite important in racing.
Doubled Service Life: Our Lithium-Ion Battery
In the lithium-ion battery, lithium is used as a storage medium instead of the traditional lead. This makes the batteries far more lightweight than series batteries. Their service life is twice as long as that of conventional batteries. They are also up to 80% smaller than standard batteries and yet absolutely robust, impact-safe and water-resistant. Thanks to the brass inserts, cast in the battery, you can neatly mount it.
