High-strength ARP screw made of molybdenum steel for mounting the flywheel to the crankshaft. For all air-cooled engines.
Particularly essential for tuned engines, as significantly higher torques have to be transmitted to the crankshaft!
Thread M12 x 1.25 for model years from 1970 - 1977 or M10 x 1.25 for model years from 1978 - 1997
All ARP screws can be reused.
These screws are longer than standard bolts. Please note when fitting!
Tightening sequence:
1) Apply Loctite 242 (blue/medium-strength) to the threads
2) Apply ARP Ultra torque Paste under the screw head
3) Tighten screws only hand-tight
4) Then cross-tighten to 95 Nm
