Complete sports kit for 2.0 TFSI from Sachs RACE incl. Single mass flywheel
This kit from Sachs is the ideal sports clutch kit for everyday use. The reinforced pressure plate with special coating ensures better grip. With the clutch disc you have the choice - organic or sintered metal. The single mass flywheel made of steel is very light. The kit is suitable for a continuous load of up to 600 Nm.
A dual-mass flywheel is fitted as standard, which provides a certain amount of comfort when starting off, but is very heavy. It also cannot withstand higher torque transmission. To prevent damage to your clutch and gearbox, you should upgrade with this kit!
Features
Attention: The clutch spring assembly must face the engine side.
When converting to a single mass flywheel it can lead to Rattling noises when idling
However, these are harmless and arise in the gearbox. As soon as the clutch is depressed these noises disappear.
The only remedy is a harmonic vibration damper but the noises will not disappear completely. In addition, the pedal force naturally increases as the clutch is designed for higher torques.
Caution: Not recommended for use in a KTM X-Bow, as this can lead to problems when changing gear! We recommend using the OE DMF in conjunction with a sports clutch.
