Our ambition was to develop a perfect valve especially for the T(F)SI engine, which can easily withstand any performance. Made of martensite, with very good corrosion properties and excellent nitriding and surface hardness. The stem end has also been extra hardened to minimize wear on the valve, rocker arm and camshaft.
Our valves offer the following advantages:
High temperature resistance
Strong tear resistance
made of high-strength martensitic valve steel
completely nitrided
Full valve
3 wedge groove for optimum grip
Quality and workmanship at the highest level
Valves have standard dimensions. Price for 8 valves.
The VAG standard valves have the major disadvantage that they can break on engines with significant power increase or long mileage. The standard valves are hollow inside and sodium cooled. With the very thin valve stem of only 6mm, there is not much material left to protect the valve!
When installing a new Dreinut valve, we always recommend installing new OEM valve wedges. This will ensure that the valve is seated properly. If used wedges are used, they may have occlusion, the valve will not seat properly and will have play.
Fits all 4 cylinder T(F)SI engines, from EA113 to EA888 Evo4 and on all 5 cylinder TFSI engines.
