The 2.0 & 1.8TSI EA888 3rd generation motor presents many new obstacles for aftermarket modifications. One obstacle is finding a location for a manifold boost & vacuum source. This is essential if you plan to install a boost gauge or diverter valve. Traditional boost taps used on the earlier TSI engines are not compatible due to the redesigned intake manifold found on the 3rd generation motor.
USP designed a simple yet effective boost tap that installs on the intake manifold. Simply unscrew the pressure sensor located on the top of the intake manifold and install the USP boost tap between the sensor and the manifold. The installation can be completed in minutes and is completely reversible.
The kit comes complete ready to install.
