Turbosmart - EXTERNAL Wastegate with Electronic Actuator
Complete with flanges and 360° configurable!

There are no springs, no hoses and no boost reference signal, nor any of the limitations associated with any of them. Gone are ‘Minimum’ boost levels associated with base spring pressure or the heat related issues with hoses. If your manifold priority is good enough, you can set your boost anywhere from zero up to ‘All of it’ – All from your laptop or tuning interface.

The eWG electronic external wastegate range is built on the award winning GenV external wastegate architecture which is truly modular, allowing interchangeable actuator housings between all body sizes & full 360 degree rotatable housings for limitless mounting, hose & wire routing.

The control strategy is shared across the entire GenV eWG range, requiring a H-Bridge control output most commonly used for electronic throttle bodies & include a valve position sensor & onboard temperature sensor for data logging and safety strategies.

Important note on operation with and without water cooling!

Operation without water cooling is possible, but is not recommended. It is necessary to ensure that the temperature of the actuator does not exceed 150 ° C in order to avoid damage to the electronics.
