The 2.7L BiTurbo billet timing belt drive sprockets RACE are the perfect connection to the crankshaft. Especially as a tuning fan you will get your money's worth with this crankshaft sprocket, because you will never have problems with worn out sprockets again!
The OEM gears are cast and therefore have some weak points, which should be eliminated, especially for engines with increased performance. They can twist and break at higher RPMs, and the increased force applied during load changes can also cause the wheel to break. The consequences could hardly be worse, because without the drive on the timing belt, the valves hit the piston, usually tear off and destroy the entire engine.
To prevent this from happening, you should upgrade your engine with our Race crankshaft sprocket. It is milled from the solid and therefore very robust. Before mounting the wheel is heated. Due to this press fit, it sits optimally on the crankshaft and - unlike the standard part - does not allow any tolerances. It comes with new bolts.
