It can be used at various parts and is self glueing.
The Mylar surface reflects the heat and the foil surface conductes the heat away.

The Cool-It Mat consists of a resin-bonded silicia blanketing insulation which is between a Mylar surface and a foil surface.

The inner part is for Soundprotection.
The Cool-It Mat is easy zu cut and mount.
Resists up to 950°C.
