The APR Stage 1 ECU Upgrade is the first step to more power! No modifications to the engine hardware are required for this simple upgrade.
Software upgrades from APR are the best way to get more power out of the 5.2 FSI V10. The tuning significantly increases the power and the torque and makes for an exceptionally faster and more exciting vehicle.
In addition, we have optimized lambda control, split port and direct injection, cam phasing, firing angle and many other parameters to improve performance. As a last resort, we have added an optional cold start mode, which is an excellent addition to vehicles with a louder exhaust system.
This is possible by optimizing the engine management system without the need for customer customization. The software is loaded directly to the controller through the OBD port. Optional functions such as APR Program Switching, ie changing the various data states via the speed controller or APR Mobile are also available.
The software supports various octane values and is specially tuned to them. Each version is fully compatible with upgraded air filters, exhaust systems and other minor modifications.
