Description

Race conrod bearing shells in oversize for 2.5L TFSI engines like in the Audi RS3 and TTRS.

Our bearing shells have been developed to withstand higher engine power.
Longer engine life due to special coatings. The multiple coating improves heat transfer and maximises adhesion between the bearings and the conrods.

The oversize bearing shells are required when your crankshaft needs to be reground. If material is removed from the shaft, the bearing shell must compensate for this. This is exactly what the ACL bearings with oversize are perfect for.

The bearing shells are constructed as follows:

  • Lead, tin, copper coating
  • Nickel coating
  • Copper lead coating
  • hardened steel back

Further advantages:

  • High strength despite reduced thickness.
  • Improved oil film due to the improved oil bore.
  • Enlarged ID chamfers on the bearing edges.
