Running higher torque than 900Nm requiers our Race clutch as the OEM spline will be damaged and tear off!
With our reinforced clutch, the full potential of the performance increase can be exploited. A must for every tuned engine with DSG gearbox running more than 900Nm.
Unfortunately, the standard baskets have not been developed for high performance and break very easily. In the worst-case scenario, you run the risk of major gearbox damage.
With our BAR-TEK clutch kit, this problem is a thing of the past. While the original clutch on engines with DSG-DQ500 gearboxes often starts to slip at 650 Nm torque, our kit allows you to change gears quickly and without losing traction - and with full power up to 1300 Nm!
This means you don't have to limit the torque, as is often the case, but benefit from the full extent of your performance increase. Our reinforced clutches have already been tried and tested in motorsport, so you don't have to worry about the high wear and tear of the standard clutch.
