Description

ACL Race conrod bearing shells for BMW DOHC 16V S14B20, S14B23 and S14B25 Engines

ACL bearing shells are designed to withstand higher engine power.
Longer engine life due to special coatings. Multiple coatings improve heat transfer and maximize adhesion between the bearings and conrod.

The bearing shells are constructed as follows:
- Lead, tin, copper coating
- Nickel coating
- Copper lead coating
- Hardened steel backing

Other advantages:
- High strength despite reduced thickness.
- Improved oil film due to improved oil bore.
- Enlarged ID chamfers on the bearing edges.

Optionally also with Calico coating:
Additionally these bearing shells have a special coating from Calico to reduce wear and friction. We recommend this coating for racing engines.

-BMW S14B23 DOHC 16V
-BMW S14B25 DOHC 16V

The bearing shells can also be used for the S38. For this you have to order two sets.
