The compressor housing has been designed so that most tuning accessories available in the aftermarket can be used. For example, the electric Turbosmart Blow Off valves fit without changes to the turbocharger and can be easily attached to the holes provided. The intake opening in front of the compressor wheel is kept absolutely original and thus also allows easy attachment of accessory intake.
The turbine housing has an increased exhaust flow and has been specially developed for the high-quality Garrett GTX3071R center section. As Materal here a heat resistant 1050 ° C solid stainless steel was chosen. The volute is performance- and flow-optimized. Another advantage: All aftermarket performance downpipes fit the outlet of the turbine housing.

The latest generation within the Garrett Performance family. GTX-R Gen II Turbo's are similar to the GTX Series Gen I. The Gen II turbochargers feature a completely redesigned compressor side and produce up to 20% more power than their predecessors. However, the main feature here is the new generation compressor housing with preparation to accept an optional tachometer sensor and the milled compressor wheels with improved aerodynamics and increased pressure ratio.
Compressor wheel:
All GTX compressor wheels are forged and milled from special high-strength aluminium alloys. This manufacturing process gives the turbocharger a particularly high degree of efficiency. The particularly even wheel geometry also reduces any pulsation noise. You can recognise this by the X in the turbocharger designation.
Bearing:
The ceramic double ball bearings with metal cages guarantee a fast response.
Cooling:
The turbocharger is equipped with water cooling. The connection is made through two connection threads on the side.
Turbine wheel:
