This is our latest turbo development for the 2.0 TFSI EA113 engine as installed in the Golf 5 GTI. Everything about it is optimized for flow to give you more power quickly and easily. With our Thor 555 turbocharger kit, you can give your engine over 500 PS (368 kW) of power and pure enjoyment from your GTI.
Thor 555 turbocharger with integral manifold
Our Thor 555 upgrade turbo comes with an integral exhaust manifold. The exhaust housing of the turbo and the manifold are a single component. This means that no turbulence can occur at the point where the two parts are normally connected, and the exhaust gases can flow freely. There is also no longer a transition that could suffer from the high thermal loads. This increases durability and drastically improves responsiveness, not to mention performance. The optimized cross-section of the manifold also contributes to more boost and performance.
Easy access to more power
The Thor 555 is a bolt-on kit, which means that the downpipe can be easily installed via plug & play. The kit fits all transverse and longitudinal 2.0 TFSI EA113 engines, and the original water and oil lines can also be installed. The Thor 555 turbocharger also fits newer EA888 engines perfectly, but the oil and water lines must be adapted.
Our integral manifold offers several advantages for your conversion:
