Description

High performance transmission mount for 2.0L TSI EA888 new generation 3 engines, as used in the Golf MK7 GTI.

The original transmission mounts can allow a longitudinal displacement of up to 12° under extreme loads. The VWR Uprated Engine Mounts reduce this to just 3°. This special transmission bearing replace the original bearing. It increases the rigidity of the engine while still having good cushioning properties.

Often the original engines or gearboxes increase in performance and there is high engine vibration and fluctuations in the engine compartment. The transmission mounts fit the TSI engines, with manual or DSG transmission. The holders are milled from the solid. Machined from a 6061 T6 aluminum CNC.

These bearings contribute significantly to cornering stability.
