The new top-mount manifold Gen.2 from Turbo-Total® has been specially developed for the 1.8T 20V engine and enables outputs of up to 700 hp and more! Compared to conventional turbocharging manifolds, this manifold has a 4-to-1 design that enables surge charging and significantly improves response behaviour. With a cross-section of 48 mm and its flow-optimised design, this manifold ensures a higher flow rate and an impressive increase in power even in the medium engine speed range.
1.4849 Stainless Alloy. The best of the best!
For racing purposes, we only us materials with the best characteristics. As an alloy for our manifolds, we have therefore decided to use a heat-resistant stainless steel casting with the less catchy name ,,1.4849''. It consists of a complex mixture of chromium, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, niobium, phosphorus, sulphur and silicon. The key strengths of the material 1.4849 include its heat resistance up to 1100 degrees Celsius and its high elongation at break. This makes it the material of dreams when it comes to the highest thermal and mechanical loads - and perfekt for challenging uses in motorsport. So it is the best material for our high performance parts and your tuning projects!
With three different adapter rings, this manifold is extremely versatile and compatible with Garrett, Turbosmart, Tial and Precision turbochargers (based on the respective exhaust sides). These adapter rings ensure seamless integration and optimum performance, regardless of the turbocharger brand selected. The construction of this manifold is of the highest quality, made from robust material for durability and reliability under extreme conditions.
Note: Depending on the design of the actuator and turbocharger, material must be removed from the valve cover to ensure sufficient clearance.
