This plug & play-compatible 200-cell sports catalytic converter reduces the exhaust back pressure by up to 85% compared to the standard catalytic converter. This results in a noticeable increase in performance, which is particularly advantageous for modified engines. No original look, but made of robust stainless steel, making it extremely durable.
For longitudinally installed 1.8T engines in particular, it offers the advantage of a reduced exhaust gas temperature, which extends the service life of the turbocharger, which is often vulnerable.
It should be possible to fulfil the EURO3 standard if it is installed and tuned correctly. It is completely ready to use for all 1.8T engines in the VW Passat 3b & 3BG, Audi A4 B5 and B6.
