Sachs RCS clutch with steel single flywheel for 6-speed gearbox up to 1530Nm!
Although the built-in dual-mass flywheel ensures better starting comfort, it is firstly too heavy and secondly not suitable for high torque transmission. Even with single-disc clutches is sometime reached the limit and it remains only such a multi-disc clutch from Sachs Race.

Up to 620Nm continuous load (184mm 2 discs sinter)
Up to 950Nm continuous load (184mm 3 discs sinter)
Up to 1020Nm continuous load (200mm 2 discs sinter)
Up to 1530Nm continuous load (200mm 3 discs sinter)
With the RCS Sachs clutch, it can lead to rattling noises at idle, but they are harmless.
Attention: When using the RCS clutch, the spring travel of the clutch pedal should be set to max. 5mm are limited to avoid overpressing the clutch springs. It can e.g. a stop as mounted by the accelerator pedal under the clutch pedal.
We strongly recommend to use the Friction Disc additionally between flywheel and crankshaft!
This clutch kit we drive successfully in our test VW Golf on the 1/4 mile.
