Our 1.8T 20V set is a team of perfectly matched components: High-quality forged pistons from Wiseco and our X-shaft steel connecting rods from BAR-TEK®® . Although you save money by purchasing the parts individually, the special thing about this set is the enormous power that is possible with it: You can easily drive up to 650 hp with it!
The Wiseco forged pistons are made for extreme performance and therefore perfectly complement our conrods. They are extremely light and reinforced, which is why they can withstand enormous loads. The piston skirt is also coated to reduce friction. With a 1.65 mm cylinder head gasket you can achieve a compression ratio of 8.5:1. Piston pins, rings and clips are included. If you still need more displacement and power, our stroker kit for 2.0 litre displacement is the right choice for you
Our X-shaft steel connecting rods have also been developed for sporty, ambitious drivers with Golf 4, Audi A3, S3, TT and Co. Their design ensures that the extreme forces acting on them are optimally distributed and thus reduced. This makes our conrods extremely stable, while they are very light at just 599 grams. The conrods alone can easily withstand up to 1000 hp! Also included are the high-quality ARP 2000 expansion screws in 3/8" and the ARP mounting paste.
