Friction Disc (diamond disc) between bolt and crank damper for all 1.8T and 2.0L TFSI VW / Audi engines.
Between crankshaft and crank damper there are very high micro-movements. Even when using ARP bolts, the connection is not 100% free of play. A fatal defect on the crank damper can happen, especially on tuned engine with increased torque!
The friction disc increases the friction by up to 300% and thus ensures a better bolt connection. Since the disc is very thin (0.1mm), there are no problems with the belt drive.
A must have for engines with increased power!
