Optimal set for 1.8T 20V engines: forged piston and steel connecting rod
If you want to get up to 650 hp out of your 1.8T 20V engine, this set of forged pistons from MAHLE, X-Beam steel conrods from BAR-TEK® and ACL racing bearings is just right for you.
The serial parts in your Golf 4, Audi TT, Audi S3 and so on are not made for the extreme performance increase. In order for your engine to withstand this performance, you should upgrade to our set. With the pistons from MAHLE, you also ensure smooth engine running in the cold start phase. A special alloy allows low running clearance and the special ring zones prevent increased blowby. MAHLE pistons are therefore particularly popular in motor sports.
The BAR-TEK® connecting rods with X-Beam are designed to withstand enormous pressure loads. They are absolutely stable and crack-resistant. Our connecting rods in your 1.8T 20V engine can withstand up to 1000 hp without any problems. Also included, of course, are the 3/8" ARP 2000 expansion screws and the assembly paste. The set also includes ACL racing conrod bearings, which have an additional bore just like the conrods. Thanks to this bore, the piston pins are optimally lubricated.
